Community Acupuncture
In community-style acupuncture, treatments are provided in a group setting with patients fully clothed and sitting in comfortable chairs. Fine sterile needles are inserted in the ears or in other accessible body points as needed with virtually no pain. Treatment times vary from 20 to 45 minutes.
This approach to treatment has many benefits. It allows patients to share a group experience of quiet and calm energy while finding relief from stress and trauma. It is also a great way to keep treatment costs low.
Acupuncture stimulates your body’s natural ability to heal itself. It treats the whole person—physical, emotional and mental—simultaneously. Some immediate results of treatment include reduced anxiety and depression, an improved sense of well being, relaxation and improved sleep. The long-term benefits are improvements in overall health, balance and wellness, and potential resolution of chronic health problems.
